They have a right to speak their own language, and being bilingual is awesome. However, I think it's pretty freaking arrogant to come here and expect everyone else to learn to speak their language to get things done.

If this has to be exlained to you (why it is absophuckingloutely NOT okay to fly ANY other flag other than Old Glory, and/or the state flag of wherever that govt building happens to sit, on the grounds of said building) then perhaps you should move. Actually it is kinda cool when they drape their cars with their tricolori when they win whichever soccer match they're in that week. But remember, just like a Tulane flag it is OK to laugh at the Mesican flag. Like "Look at that stupid f'n Mesican flag"

If it is a building/service being provided by American tax dollars I have a real efing problem if you, the other pot head, or anyone else wants to fly some chicken crap flag from another country OR try to get business done in another language. They can do all that silly crap fly their flag over the barrios if they want. Don't really care.

I won't get on my soap box here as to why that is a really close to the heart subject for me so here is what is important for you to understand. You can wear whatever you want. You can put whatever you want in YOUR yard. You can paint your lowrider however you wish. You can even take the American flag and use it to light the charcoal that will cook your polish sausages with. (You probably won't like what I'd do with that sausage if I were to see you doing it... oh wait you just might):shock: You can do all these things because a lot of good people afforded you that right. So yes, I take it damned personal if someone wants to suggest that it is okay to fly a (insert country) flag from anything that is representative of the people that gave them that right. The same goes for language. I don't know, nor do I care how many countries you have been to. I know what my count is and I can tell you this, better get an terp because they don't really care if you can't speak thier language. Why is it so far into outer space to think we deserve the same?
