Stone emphasized that the four players were being called in because witnesses have said they were involved in the fight Stone said one individual associated with the fight likely would be booked with second-degree battery, a felony offense that carries a five-year prison sentence upon conviction. I realize ignorance is bliss but come on, you must be feeling unbelievably blissful this morning! And that's quotes from an official police spokesman not internet smoke as you called it.
Thanks. First time I've seen mentioned that one individual likely would be booked with second degree battery charges. The question remains, is it a player or someone from the other side?
Still a lot of unanswered question, however it is evident that there was indeed a physical confrontation involving football players. Who started it and how far it went are the questions yet to be answered. Hopefully it was self defense and it didn't go over board like some reports say. Those are the things that will determine how hot the water is going to get, but there is no doubt they are indeed in hot water.
Why don't you ask Les? When a quarter of the team, including the team leaders, break curfew and get in legal trouble it makes him look bad. It makes it look like his players disrespect his rules. It makes him look like he has instilled no discipline. Les will do what Bo would have done to him. He's going to hammer these players and he's going to put the whole team on a short leash. It is not a good time to get in Les' doghouse.
All this nonsense has made me realize how much we actually need JJ. Assuming he doesn't play like last year.
