I must admit that I don't have much faith in JJ or Lee due to their performance thus far but man what a great story it would be for Lee to have a great year capped off with something special.

The guy has been through a lot and continued to fight. Hell after Jason Campbell, I'm always optimistic with a QB's senior year.

I agree. Personally, I hope the guy gets a chance and does something special with it. In 6 months, college football will be a memory for him, and I realy hope he gets to end it in a good way.

If by game time it's known that JJ will be on extended leave I expect both Lee and Mett to get PT. We need an experienced back up for SEC play. And we need to find out what both of these guys can do under pressure. I know Lee has been there but it's a new year and Krag may have coached him up.

Same here. I saw JL play his Sr.year in high school (Zero week game). It was two games/4 teams in Reliant Stadium. After the game we drove straight back to BTR, got up the next morning. I had an invite to go in with the high school recruits. Seeing Jimbo once inside, he was talking with a few recruits parents. After talking with them he walked over, I ask, "Guess where I was last night?" Then I told him about Lee, he was really wanting to work with the kid. Lee was thrown into the fire a little early, he also needed a QB coach, not just an OC that threw out plays. Krags is that coach. I'll be pulling for him, like all players. He could have left LSU and not much would have been said. I think he will show people what he can do this year. Best of luck to him.

+1. Lee has always handled his situation with class and courage. I would love to see him have a great year.

Cliff is a good guy and great representative of LSU but sometimes I think his fire sputters on the keyboard end of his representing.
