Mountain West Plans for Eliminating the BCS

People would have to go to it or watch it on TV to make money. Who is going to watch LaTech play Houston in the doesn't matter bowl.

 

I'm all for playoffs, but that is a pretty lame proposal. And why do the 9th and 10th teams have to play each other? What kind of consolation is that?

I think 8 teams is kind of pushing it (a max upper-limit that is rarely necessary), but the committee style selection of teams might be worth looking into.
