The Vegas line had us as a favorite but we were by no means favorites according to the talking heads.

vegas oddsmakers set these lines to make money.
I'll go with the moneymakers over the trashtalkers.

    TheDude I'm calmer than you.

How have they lost to aTm the last two years??

I have to agree with TB3 on this one. Texas will fall again this year. Maybe even twice.

Auburn - could have been like us this decade. Was always good enough to beat the best teams but had too many letdown games.

Penn St. - always has talent, with years like this year and 05, makes you wonder why they can't be consistently good.

Virginia Tech - Early in the 00's, they always started hot and choked the season away. They are well coached and should have more to show for it.

aTm - they aren't great but they shouldn't suck as much as they have

I voted Clemson but, in retrospect, should have voted Notre Dame, based upon their recruiting/performance.

Despite my dislike of all things Trojan, how can they be underachieving? They lose 1 game a year and win the conference and play in a BCS Bowl every year. An NC is very difficult to achieve, I don't care how much talent you have. I'm sure guys like me, who were around before Nick Saban, all realize that.
