I told my husband a short while ago that some years down the road, this will be one of those seasons that we just always talk about. It's incredible and exciting. What a year...

When the senseless penalty occurred, I already had put 7 points on the board for Bama, and I knew the game was totally changed at that point.

If they punt to us, we probably go down the field and put up 7 more for a 24-3 lead and at that point Bama would have been forced to take chances. Game over.

I'm 58 and I've seen a few stretches like this before...but we'd usually lose most of them. Enjoy the ride, people.

At that point I was hoping the Tigers don't start sitting back. I had a bit of a bad feeling that Bama was going to come right back. The penalty call did changed the momentum completely. Glad the Tigers stayed on track and kept on fighting back despite all the turnovers. I consider that a good character of the team, unfazed by adversity.

Now all they need is to work on their penalties and special team play.
