I meant, were they right 4 years ago. The answer is no, showing their lack of football intelligence. They were wrong. They were showing their arrogance.

I bet none of their members have a MilesFan user so I'd say it's a wash.

He earned his stripes his very first year as LSUs head coach...not this year.

That was the year of Katrina and he led LSU to a number TWO ranking in the BCS poll that year...and followed it up with a top FIVE recruiting class.

That was the year that the world of college football saw the greatest coaching effort in HISTORY !!

    This, except LSU finished 5th in 2005, 3rd in 2006, and then 1st in 2007. Never 2nd.

It's funny that people think he JUST THIS YEAR became a good coach. Sad, actually...

I was pretty sure that after we beat Miami on the field and in the tunnel we vaulted to number two...after the bowl game...Maybe the AP?

College football needs more coaches like Les Miles.
In this day and age with all the arrogant and self-absorbed coaches in America today,CLM is a breath of fresh air.He gets it, its just a game and he plays to win not to pad stats.Hes fearless and all college coaches hate loseing to him because the media portrays him as the village idiot.Les uses this to his advantage, make no mistake CLM is no fool,he makes a living making young men into real men hes 1 of the best at it and he is at his best when the chips are down.Ill say it again hes "FEARLESS"!!!!!!!!!!!!
