The guys who run profootballtalk and collegefootballtalk are just asswipes with an attitude and a website, not journalists. They throw out any crap that reaches their email, add some "gonzo" lines, and see what sticks. If it doesn't they just say that's why it's the "rumor mill". It's been demonstrated recently that you can get a couple of people to email some inane thing and it'll show up. Don't worry about their worthless BS.
Why? It exposes a couple of sports related websites as farces. Now when people hear of a story on one of those sites, they will know to disregard it...... Especially since they are both wasting space on LSU related "propaganda" - as the thread starter titled this.
Well, I can't say that I get that article. If it's arse kissing that Saban likes, he's CERTAINLY getting enough of it in his current job.... Sounds like this article was written with 50% penis envy, 25% information from those who obviously just dislike Saban, 10% speculation and the other 15% just to stir up 'chit'....
Profootballtalk... You've got to understand, the guys that run that website HATE college football. To them, if a college coach turns down a pro job, any job, he is an idiot. Go to they're other site Collegefootballtalk.com and read how they see college football in general. They get so pissed when someone turns down a pro job. They go from loving Saban to dispising him in less than a week. From Miami savior to "Nick the d*ck" within a few threads. The same thing happened last year when they were sure Saban was headed to Chicago. He was wonderful until he didn't take the job, then they crapped all over him. They have "sources" all over the country, that are usually wrong. They repeat any rumour that they find on the web. If you want a good laugh, head on over............WHAT A JOKE! :lol:
