Interesting side note. Pahokee was kicked out of the Nike 7on7 tourney today for repeated behavioral issues.

    Here are the final results:

    1st - Miami Northwestern (FL)
    2nd - DeSoto (TX)
    3rd - Serra (CA)
    4th - Byrnes (SC)
    5th - Lakewood (CA)
    6th - Gainesville (GA)
    7th - Skyline (TX)
DNF - Pahokee (FL) - Disqualified

    Finals:
    Miami Northwestern (FL) 34
    Desoto (TX) 23

    3rd Place Game:
    Serra 32 vs Byrnes 20

    5th Place Game
    Lakewood 14 vs Gainesville 12

Miami Northwestern went undefeated the entire tournameny.

As the previous poster stated, Teddy Bridgewater was the class of the field for MNW and should be among, if not the, top rated recruit(s) in 2011.

Mike Davis got rave reviews but overall as a team they were disappointing. They said he was in control when he made his 1st moves to get by the CBs. Needs to add bulk though.

Heard Pahokee main issues came off the field. They didn't even touch the field today.:dis:

DRC, you hearing anything about Kiffen firing his 2nd S&C coach this summer?

If true, I bet it has to do with the supplement program again.

SEC comissioner Silve all but calls Kiffen out by name in this article in which he says that this may be the golden age of the SEC with three (and counting) national titles in football, but the league has to avoid self inflicted wounds such as recruiting violations and coaches accusing other coaches publicly of breaking rules, grabbing attention for themselves at the expense of other coaches, etc.

We talked briefly last night and he has heard nothing about the S&C coach. He is still working as of yesterday.

He did say the Commissioner scheduled a meeting with Kiffin to take place sometime at media days. He didnt know the specifics but guessed it was about all the secondary's.

He also told me another thing that was interesting. He is spending all his time selling season tickets right now. They are hurting for ticket package sales and burning up the phone lines to alumni and past ticket holders. Sales are off 25%. Kiffin isnt igniting much of an interest in the fan base right now. Ticket sales are a HUGE concern for them at this point.
