1. Hmmm, haven't heard that one yet. Just the new rival in "F'n Bama" one.

But in any case I just can't wait until the game gets here. I'm tired of hearing the heads say: "LSU had so much talent my ________ could have gone all the way with that team." Last time I checked, just about every top team out there has talent comparable to LSU's. You can only do so much, there are WAY too many intangibles. How can you fault a team (or coach) from going 11-2 while getting screwed over at Auburn and playing so pitifully against UF? Like was mentioned in this thread already, people seem to have forgotten what this team had to go through during Katrina. I continue to believe that that was probably the single best season ever for LSU. Just being able to stay competitive with all of the distractions and a new coach. How can people fault that? :dis:
  2. Using that theory you can't critic any school's NC claims...including Harvard back in the early 1900's.
  3. I have heard this, but it has slipped from my memory.......

BTW, I trace roots back to Tukabatchi
  4. Did you mean, Tukabatchee? A history dealing with a great oak tree? Is the one at Toomer's Corner an oak...you know the one, the tree an Alabama fan was supposed to have killed?!?
  5. After a little research, I see there are two different spellings...my bad. If that question was on a Wonderlic I'd be in trouble.
  6. That's what I'm saying...that's the way it was back in Harvard's years.
  7. No. The most shocking part is that there are enough people in that area who can read in the first place.
  8. Posting the link here will probably steer more hits to this site in a few hours than it has seen in the past few months.

  9. There was an oak at the center of the town, and the trees at Toomer's are Oak...odd.

The car didn't help, but environmental pressure is a major factor.
