You just keep on believing the leftist rhetoric. Iraq and Iraqis were and are up to their elbows in al qaida doings. Maybe not specifically 9/11 (then again maybe so) but Saddam was an enemy of the US and needed taking out. I feel safer with him out and don't give a damn how many Saddam supporters are visiting with Allah as we speak.
Well, I'm just parroting the "leftist rhetoric" of the 9/11 comission. And I have yet to see that Iraq and Al-Queda were "up to their elbows" in cooperation. If you know any, please tell Congress so we can clear things up.
What does my opinion of the current administration and the Iraq war have to do with my belief in state control or free market capitalism?
Do you mean that partisan "inquisition"? After the grilling that Condy Rice had to endure, I gave zero credibility to those hearings. They were far more interested in finding fault with Bush than with seeking out the truth. Typical politics. That's why Bush has the full support of level-headed Americans. He does what he thinks is right, not what his band of merry men think is politically expedient. Don't you get it? Kerry is saying everything he thinks you want to hear. If his advisors tell him it didn't go over well, he'll say something entirely different the next time.
Don't foget that Jaime Gorelic was part of that committee and she was part of the problem under the Clinton Administration. If they wanted to have creditability they should've not only kick Jaime of the board they should've grilled her as well. That would have been the right thing to do to get to the bottom of this.
"The bottom of this" is that the radical muslims hate us and there isn't a damn thing anyone could have done short of hunting them down and killing them in their sleep (see Qadaffi, Jr.).
