So my questions about and issues with Trump predate his running for office and the characteristics I dislike were exposed then and showed throughout his presidency. There are also policies he held I disagree with. Finally the people he keeps around are of poor quality bad character and some I believe are dangerous. My first issue is he’s a poor manager. This have proven true time and again. Yes he has a lot of money and he’s excellent at selling his name, but besides his inheritance of money that he did use to develop property and him trading on licensing his name, he has not run a large business successfully. His bankruptcies are legion. Every large company he has run has gone bankrupt starting with casinos, the Plaza, Trump Air, Trump U, the USFL etcetera. Another flaw is his inattentive personality and disorganization. He never did the day to day hard work of his office. He couldn’t work with anyone who wasn’t subservient to him. He failed to fill offices that are important and important to the continued running of the executive branch. He has no interest in learning anything new, in fact seems very poorly educated and unaware in many subjects. Most of all he only listens to yes men and cannot abide other opinions. This narrow minded outlook is dangerous in a president. Some of those he listened to are I believe dangerous. Steven Miller, Steve Brannon and others are as dangerous to our constitutional system and country as those on the left. They also encourage some of his darker ideas. By his background he’s a authoritarian.....not that I think he wants to be a dictator but his whole life was being the one and only boss. He carried that into his presidency and give an opening to one’s who follow either right or left. When it comes to his policies I have issues with the way he conducted international relations from straining our relationship with allies to being too acquiescent to Putin, lil Kim and other thugs in office. He deserves credit for belling China but was inconsistent in his institution of tariffs and frankly picked some that hurt us more than China. I think we need better control of our borders and little tolerance of law breakers but many of his anti immigration acts hurt those we need to keep growing. Finally his narcissism stepped all over everything he did. His actions cost him the election. He squandered opportunities presented by the summer riots and the Covid vaccine development. Then he cost the republicans the senate with his tantrums after the election, making two shoe in Republican seats go to democrats. Of course that set the stage for the shit that’s happening today. I understand many if not most don’t agree and by this time I realize this won’t change your minds anymore than you’ll change mine. I’d say let’s focus on the immediate threat posed by Biden and the democrats and let Trump reside in the past unless and until 2024.
