Whoever is tellling you that, is an idiot. Tiger is easily the best golfer of his time. Maybe best ever, but I don't go back far enough to be able to compare him to others.

Jeter is an average defensive SS. He has a good arm, but below average range. He does that cute lil jump throw (that announcers cream over) on plays where other SS get there, turn, plant, and throw. He's a good hitter, and comes up in with clutch hits, but nothing "amazing". Decent (not great) BA, below avg power numbers.

Good ball player? without a doubt.
Great ball player? you must be easier to impress than I am.

At no point in his career would you say (objectively) he was the "best" SS in the AL (A-Rod, Nomar, Orlando Cabrerra, Omar Vizquel), let alone one of the best ever.

Angels playing defense like the Cubs.
Let a routine pop-up drop between Hunter and Kendrick with 2 outs and bases drunk. 3 runs scored.

Wakefield is flat out getting abused. They need to pull him asap.

His pitches have no action and I am not for pulling anyone that early. But knucklers in the ALCS are a different story.

Watch him have a no-no the next four innings.
