If you'd have been paying attention, the Cubs are 0-for-the millenium with runners in scoring position in the playoffs. and Big Z's runs mostly have come off errors.
so on a play that should be a double play, but instead scores a run on an error, it's Zambrano's fault? he should have telepathically known his fielder would botch the play and strike the guy out?
Last time I checked it was 5-0 and Zambrano was still on the hill. Did the error cause all 5 runs to score? I know you understand this concept.
yes, hes a good man ill go with blind, but i was just messin with you. http://www.tigerforums.com/showthread.php?t=76389 but thats beyond the point and this is where my love-hate relationship with baseball comes in. in other sports i think it is great that the teams with the best record should win, but the underdog could win. its really not that exciting for me to go into a series knowing any team could win at anytime even if a team won 20 more games than the other one and has home field. that excitement is for my women like my mom.
It's 6-0. and only 2 of the runs are earned. 6 innings of 2 run baseball is a quality start. I know you understand that concept. It's not his fault the Cubbies have more errors than hits and 3 more errors than they do runs.
Don't give up the double with 2 outs that cleared the bases. That's why Zambrano is the "ace". Buck up and shut them down. He failed. He is overrated. He can't be trusted.
Rays are the most complete team in this playoffs. Best bullpen, best defense, solid starting pitching, speed and power and timely hitting. They have it all and they make it look easy. Fundamental baseball at it's finest. They can run a clinic using footage from these first 2 games. The Red Sox winning is a good thing, as this would give the Rays home field advantage through the World Series and they are nearly impossible to beat at home. Go Rays.
