Watched the Reds/Diamondbacks game today. Cueto is for real. He'll have some rough outings, but I know who I'd lay my money on for ROY now...unless Kershaw gets an early call up. Perfect through 5 and 1/3. Gave up one run on one hit in 7 innings. 10ks.
Fukudome (sp) is the real deal. The Astros are not. I am a huge fan of the sport, so with the Braves not on TBS, I will follow the Stros more closely this year. Their bullpen will be in a collective coma by the end of the year.
They are on Peachtree TV (along which the Fox stations) now, which is picked up by CSS in most of the Southeast. I think only Comcast gets it...or least Cox didnt a while back.
If anyone knows a cheater's guide to how to watch the games online, other than MLBTV, I will be much obliged if you can fill me in. channelsurfing doesn't do MLB.
can we discuss the byzantine baseball blackout rules again? is there anything bud selig should be fired for more. worse than steroids for baseball. clown. the worst is the fox contract on saturdays. not to mention the japan debacle, no matinees day 2, and the ridiculous scheduling. at least they have both home and away broadcasts on the EI package to avoid those he-gone slapnutz from the chisox. the tigers crew is a close horrendous 2nd. good read here on an ex-trojan/met-- http://www.kansascity.com/sports/royals/story/550237.html he and josh hamilton are 2 players i follow. of course hamilton is a tad more talented.
by far the WORST blackout rules of all professional sports. definite upgrade from last year. the superfan package is an a$$load better too. the strikezone channel looks like a good one, plus 40 HD games a week (up from 10 last year)
Cardinals in 1st place with the best record in baseball...Yanks and Red Sox both looking up at the rest of their division....great start to the 08 season
