Only game of the year that I watch with the volume muted. The cowbells are ridiculously annoying... not to mention against the rules.

I smell an arse whipping. I saw so many flaws in MooSU today and if I saw them I know our coaches did too. Exploitation. In a good way.

MSU has 2 pretty good corners which concerns me...but the rest of the D didn't look too good against Auburn. Relf is like the poor man's Cam Newton...very poor man's. We need to make sure we can tackle him or else he'll extend a lot of drives. Definitely jam the box and force him to throw. Our D is good enough for the challenge and we look to have our best offense in 4 years, so that bodes well for us.

After watching them today, I gotta say that Mullen has whipped that team into shape fairly well. However, their O-line is pretty beat up and that's not good for them. Still, they're going to fight hard like they've got something to prove, and to knock off a #2 (presumably) LSU team would be just what the doctor ordered.

That said, I'm glad Miles rested the starters for the most part in the 2nd half tonight. It's gonna be a short week.

MSU looks tough to defend with that option that they run every other play. If we can shut that down, I dont think their QB can beat us with his arm. Way too many floaters ;)

    Relf

Relf the qb had 27 carries. He had to be physically exhausted after the game. It might be the reason he was stopped a couple of inches short of the goal line on the final play. Less than 5 days to recover from such a physical game will be very tough.

They are pretty damn solid offensively. It's gonna be tough to shut down their running ga,e.

Gotta pound them when we have the rock and keep our defense fresh. Short week scares me.

If we could shut down Thomas and James, I think we can handle Relf.

Short week to recover, I like our chances.
