6PM night game televised on ESPN. Tigers opened as a 7 point favorite. Saturday night is designated as the Gold game.

What does everyone think is the key to us getting a W Saturday night?

To me, I think it boils down to how well we move the ball against the Bulldog D. I would imagine they are going to put 8 or 9 in the box and try to make us throw the ball to move the chains.

    Your thoughts?

OL and DL play. I think this one will truly be won or lost in the trenches.

I actually think it's the defensive side of the ball. If we don't get pressure with our front 4 (we have not shown we can this season), Dak Prescott WILL have a solid day. When you see 27 or 30 points put on the board, don't be alarmed. It easily could happen. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security with these 2 past shutouts. The 3 best QBs in the SEC right now are at A&M, Missouri and, you guessed it, Mississippi State.

And of course our grimy O-line. Hopefully they clean up their act.

I think how we effect & control their QB will be the most important factor in the game. Dak is a damn good CFB QB. They will run some spread with him and our guy's better be prepared to bring down moose.

The second most important thing in my opinion will be our oline play. We need to open holes early & pass block well to give AJ confidence & time.

I feel pretty good about this defense, but the pass rush isn't there yet. I suspect Chief will blitz more and we will find out if our defensive backs can cover well enough to give Prescott a bad day.

#83 should be open all night long. State has given up some yards on the long ball.

UAB scored touchdowns on passing plays of 88, 81 and 75 yards against Mississippi State and had 435 total yards through the air.

Agree, and I've been advocating the short and intermediate passing game all season. Hit Quinn and Diarse underneath early and often, with Dural over the top. Make MSU pay quickly if they stack the box, and they'll get out of it.

Are we ever going to find out if we have a TE that can get open and catch the ball?
