As Dad pointed out, there is no track record on Del Rio as a college coach and recruiter. That should bring pause to any major universtity looking to fill a head coaching vacancy. USC needs a recruiter, especially while they are ion reduced scholarships. Outside of Tennessee, the jury is still out on Kiffen's effectiveness as a recruiter. I think USC will wind up hiring someone outside of the sportswriters' "buzz list".
