1. Miles is not some hardass with recruits. His policy is the exact one used by most top level coaches. All he asks is that recruits take all his visits before committing. Why is that hard to understand?
  2. I found this on another website. It's the same article, but uses different wording, saying that he was lobbying the Cotton in case we lost the SECCG, therefore, lost a SB bid.

  3. And why was that trip "clandestine"? Everyone new about it.
  4. Guilbeau writes for The Town Talk.
  5. Hmmm. Next year is 2008. This year is 2007.
  6. IT'S 2007???!!! Happy New Year, everybody!!! Now I have to go back and re-do my bills. I've been writing 2006 on all these checks!
  7. It is very common for athletes who have committed to a school to continue to make visits. Any coach who would pull a scholarship for that reason would only be shooting himself in the foot. Not only could it cost him a good recruit, but pulling a scholarship for such a reason would make it hard for him on the recruiting trail.

  8. But Miles didn't sign Matt Flynn. ;) :thumb: :hihi:
