Every coach has some flaws, including Nick. But a coach is hired to win football games and it is impossible to argue with Les' 81% winning record at LSU.
2 NCs and still in the hunt for 3 > 1 and being knocked out the race for 2 by Bama. I'm nitpicking, I want Miles as coach, but I think you have to admit they have a step on us for the ultimate goal (NC) in recent history. Hell, one year they went undefeated and one year they stopped us from going undefeated. By all means defend Miles, but turning that into not allowing criticism at all is the tactic of dictators, not reasonable people.
I know Red and don't understand where that comes from. I guess they don't like to be challenged when they express their opinion. Guys free speech gives you the right to say things....it doesn't protect you from someone with a differing opinion to express their opposing view.
LOL, I'm simply asking those who defend Miles not to engage in binary thinking, to realize that just because the gray areas are discussed critics aren't necessarily against Miles. I agree with you often but you tend to fall in this trap from time to time, maybe we all do. It is amusing/frustrating to counter someone's point and be rebutted, "Well, you hate Miles." I'm asking Miles's defenders to try harder.
I criticize miles all the time. In fact it's fun to distress the ones on their knees constantly swallowing his immense benevolence. Good guy, good coach but has more than his share of problems, namely on offense. Everyone knows this. You don't have to like it. I don't.
