ANd what did you people think??? That you can come up during the middle of a championship season and take away our coach??? If Miles lost credibility for staying here, I wonder what this says about Michigan...BTW, if by any chance we lose today, I hope that we play Michigan in the Cap One...That way everybody will see that Miles made the right decision.

What a rollercoaster ride. However, maybe I might end up being right on this one in the end. I figured if Meechigan went after Miles they would screw up negotiations and its sure looking like that now. HAHAHAHA!

    You sir are an arse.

You obviously don't know how hard this decision was for Les Miles. His alma mater and dream job came calling and he turned it down. This man had to struggle with this decision and it came down to wanting to stay at a place that he loved.

If you think his decision was about money then you are sadly mistaken.

It's on the ESPNNews ticker: "LSU Coach Les Miles to remain at school."

First of all I completely agree with the previous post about the fans.

Second of all, Michigan is a great program...but you have a family as well. And youre in Michigan. And near beautiful Detroit. I honestly wouldn't even fly over Michigan in Flight Simulator on my computer.

With the exception of LSU, USC, UF, OSU, OU, etc... sure youve got a great point there. I mean can a team really offer more than being in a remarkably weak conference, a cocky sense of self worth only for being in Michigan, super cold weather, being in a "beat this team (OSU) or get fired" scenario, the oppurtunity to play for shot at the NC game literally once a blue moon, and having to play in "The Big House" with their awesome fans that could only get quieter if they were attending a funeral. Seriously, that is so much more than the previously aforementioned teams have to offer  ..........

What I'm about to type is my opinion, and my opinion only.

I think 24 hours ago Les was prepared to go to Ann Arbor. I suspect all of the information leaked in the past 24 hours, including who his DC was going to be pissed him off.

That and the LSU administration sweetened the pot convinced him the best place to be is right where he is.
