If the media ever wonders why so many fans are sick of their reporting they only have to look at how they have covered the Miles/LSU/UM story and the Saban/Miles story. They are so full of ****. They remind me of a bunch of old church women that have too much time on their hands and are so desperate to find someone to listen to them they will make anything up to get attention. I have never been this worn out trying to follow news about our team just 2 hours before the game starts. What drama. I'm happy CLM has said nothing will distract him and his team while preparing for the SECCG. Yeah, right. Come on Tigers, kick some Volunteer but and win the Conference Championship. Poor Phil, he has no idea what kind of team he is playing today. Heck, I don't either. :insane:
If Miles is staying, then why the heck could he not make a statement that was not vague and completely unavoidable when all these rumors were flying around two months ago, like when he was crying during that other press conference? He waited all this time, allowed all that distraction, and now says he's staying? Wow. I was getting kind of excited to see what someone else could do with this team.
I'm glad he's staying, how about let's get behind a coach who wants to be here, and oh by the way winning 87% of his games. I don't think he'd be staying if he figures we're on our way down. He must feel good about the future here.
Here's the "Miles is staying" ESPN article. It includes the video from the press conference. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3136536
FYI. Hultberg just said that when Miles told him he was staying, he told Miles and his wife congratulations. Miles's wife said she was glad, she loved it here in BR and didn't want to leave.
Agreed. I had already resigned myself to the fact that he was gone. I was getting excited about new blood. I think however this will be better for the program especially recruiting.
