Miles says Perrilloux, Odom will not practice with team Monday

I don't know how much more destructive the threads on the transgressions of these two kids can be, for the Tigers, Themselves and Tiger Nation. Yes, I'm guilty of spending countless hours reading these threads this Fall, and I really have mixed emotions about these kids and their problems. There is such profound ignorance and stupidity displayed by their repeated problems, that the ultimate decisions on their fates become more limited. This thread displays just about the complete gamut of possible reactions and still leaves one wondering what the appropriate solution can be. I don't envy CLM his decision. It seems he's given these guys plenty of line and it seems not to have made any impression on them. Ultimately, there will be a resolution and we can only hope the stupidity ends here. For everyone's sake, whatever the decisions, I hope they are tempered and just, and put an end to these matters. I'm not holding my breath.

I agree completely. Think of how the other players on this team may be seeing this. RP commits to LSU, people are telling him that he is almost certain to become a millionaire, he goes out and makes the comment that he will have 4 heismans. Then he gets busted for trying to get into a casino with a fake ID, gets but on a "short leach". Now this......I'm sorry but from what we have seen so far added to what we know with this, he is not headed down the right road.

 

Almost like someone taking the time to repeatedly criticize a player he doesn't know, about an event that he wasn't present at?

I'm pretty sure if RP wanted your sagely advice concerning what is appropriate for himself and his girlfriend, he would've called you instead of his attorney.

True that. He won life's lottery by having this much talent bestowed upon him ( not saying he also didn't have to put in a lot of hours of hard work to develop it) . But like most people his age in his situation he just dosen't realize it. If he did, at this point, he would avoid any situation or associations that could possibly turn into any sort of controversy. If I were him (with the advantage of being able to look back and also knowing what real life is like) I would just go to practice, study game tape, go to class, study, have one steady normal girlfriend (harder said than done), go to movies, etc, bide my time , just keep it really simple, and just wait for the big bucks to come in from the NFL. You are going to be a multi millionaire soon. Then live life how you want to live it. Just don't f it up.

 

Criticizing him would be saying this "It was stupid for RP to be fighting at a club and he is a dummy and he is not worthy of playing for LSU"

CONCERN would be me saying that I hope he learns how to stay away from trouble.
