Nothing wrong with taking advantage of an opportunity to make peace when it presents itself now is there? :thumb:

MAN!!!!!!!!!! I'LL BE SO GLAD WHEN THIS CRAP IS OVERWITH!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I'll say is about the bouncers. If I were a bouncer there and Odom said he was going to go get a gun, posted what he did on myface (or whatever), I can see myself looking for another job. Expecially with his history of violence.

I had been looking forward to many conversations about Bama this week. Looks like everyone is concentrating more on this. I hope the team is more focused.............:nope: :(

If they were fired after this incident, it seems to imply that the owner must have felt that they acted inappropiately. Interesting.

Then are RP's reactions to the physical handling of his pregnant girlfriend justified? I am guessing most guys would have reacted in defense of their girlfriends; it would take a lot of humility and wisdom to appease the then volatile situation and just leave.

If RP's pregnant girlfriend was put in a bear hold, then he was okay to be pissed.

I also feel it was okay for him to forceably remove anyone's hand from her.

I also think it's okay for her to be pregnant, if they love one another and promise to take care of baby Perriloux and raise him or her right.

I'll step off my soapbox now.

    Let Ryan play.

We don't know that he outright refused to leave. The bouncers said so, but RP and DO said otherwise.

I'm of the opinion that it RP isn't kicked off the team for this incident that it's just a matter of time. And, quite frankly, I won't be sorry to see him go if he's kicked off. It might not be fair of me, but I'm sick of seeing his name in the non-sports news (and I think D.O. should have been kicked off the team the first time he "allegedly" -- sp? -- vandalized someone's car).

That said, I don't think the situation at the Varsity is so clear cut (what started it). I'm basing this on personal experience, both working at and frequenting bars in B.R. when I was a student at LSU. Sometimes you get stupid drunks who refuse to leave. Sometimes you get stupid aggressive bouncers who like to push their weight around. I've seen enough from both sides not to say that it's a clear cut case of being the customer's fault when situations escalate.

Edited to add: There's a game this weekend? ****. I did not know that.
