1. Jimbo said JaMarcus checks off at the line & makes reads just as often as any QB he's ever had. Nothing about being the best at it.
  2. I'm willing to wager that odds-makers don't care who's playing. They care who's putting money where. If people bet for LSU more with Flynn in, then the odds will favor us. That has nothing to do with the guys setting the odds, just the perceptions of the people making the bets.

  3. they also had LSU favorites over UGA. as cparso said, they arent predicting outcomes of games. theyre predicting where the money is gonna fall.

the smart money usually helps them look pretty accurate by that's a byproduct of smart bettors. the general public usually swings it the other way.
  4. I totally agree that money flow towards one team or the other will expand or shrink the spread, but injury to a star will definitely have an effect as well.
  5. because it affects which way the money flows... no other reason.

  6. I had no idea he lied about Daniels. I guess with the Christmas Festival going on here I hadn't heard. I was really surprised when the game started and Jessie wasn't playing.
  7. Does JR vary his snap count? Seems like the opposition knows when we will snap the ball and puts our o line at a big disatvantage. I noticed Shockley changing his .
  8. how much does a qb need his off arm? a separated shoulder thats not severe enough for surgery isnt that bad after 3 weeks. i did a header over the handlebars while mountainbiking in May and got a grade 3 (the middle severe grade where they sometimes do surgery, sometimes dont). after 3 weeks i had full range of motion with weakness/tenderness.

i think he should start, especially against a great D that might pressure him a lot. maybe this will teach him to pull the trigger.

just kidding (a little). if its a grade 3 theres probably too much risk for severe damage if it happens again.
  9. I agree with Cparso, Flynn has been hitting receivers in stride better than JaMarcus has. I would still rather a healthy J. Russell than a healthy Matt Flynn.
  10. :D
