Thanks for the link to the coaches' votes. I say if we end up needing an opponent in the next year or two, Skip should try to pick up FL Atlantic, since Schnellenberger had LSU at #15. And Spurrier had Oklahoma ranked #4 one spot ahead of us. And just when I was kind of starting to like the guy too.

 

If we think it's good that Miles voted with his head then we can't be too upset about OU getting votes at #4. They were basically screwed out of a win that they deserved. I'm glad Spurrier voted them 4th because that means some coaches actually put a little time into their ballots.

Truth be known, other than the final regular season poll when their votes are made public, I bet a significant number of coaches delegate the task to their SID during the regular season.

I do like Miles' ballot.

But overall looking over the great graphic chart from USAToday, I see that Howard Sc...berger is an idiot. He has us as the 15th best team in the nation -- four spots behind Ark.
