After the first 2 series, Vincent played situationally, primarily on passing downs when a blocker was needed to pick up the rush.

I see. So you would recommend that Miles or Fisher tell JR "don't be off"?

I believe that game went exactly like the game plan meant it to go. They played who they wanted Arkansas to see and did not try to take out Mississippi until almost too late. Resting up the big dogs for tougher games is never a bad idea.

Once they started moving, and scored the first 7 points, I was pretty comfortable with what the outcome was going to be.

Only scarey that they didn't start the comeback in the 3rd quarter, with the "hosses" in the game.

I agree with so many others who wonder why some people are never happy with success? If we didn't have Les....If Jimbo had a team of his own this year...things would not be so good.

Let me ask a question. If LSU canned Les, just exactly who would you suggest we get to replace him? Be reasonable enough to suggest someone who would have a real chance of ever coming to LSU. Les is something like 19-4 so far at LSU, with all losses coming from Top 10 teams.

I read in this morning's paper where LSU might be the first team in the history of collegate football to play 4 Top 10 teams on the road in the same year. Thinking back, it seems that they were all in the Top 5 at game time. I can't remember where Florida was this year, pre-game time.

i don't disagree with your post.

although i thought i was looking for the horse where it seems others refuse to smell what's under their nose.

look, i'm happy with the win, LSU was due a bad game but I'm still standing by the fact that it was our superior talent that got us this W and coaching had little to do with it.
frankly, my poll didn;t give me any answers since it's still pretty split and I'd rather focus on the game tomorrow.
    happy turkey day everybody!!

I thought when I said JV i was referring to Justin Vincent not JaMarcus Russell. I'm a big Russell fan and would never bad mouth him. I was speaking of justin vincent who when talked about years from now will go down as the guy who was the man in the '03 sec and nat'l championship. unfortuantely he regressed after his freshman season. despite that, his place is LSU history is safe.
