  2. Doesn't matter who he hires, he could hire Bill Walsh. As long as CLM is calling the plays it will LF7 left, LF7 right against 10 in the box all day long for at least another season. I'm pretty disappointed LSU didn't have the stones to do what Georgia did.....mediocracy sucks.
  3. Taking anyone from that highly toxic Mizzou football team would be the stupidest thing they have ever done, and that covers a lot of ground. A lot of ground.

  5. The #'s from this years QB. (He did play all year)

    Drew Lock - Missouri Fr. QB 315 1360 113.3ypg
(good for #139 in the nation)

And coached up by our future OC.

    ITS PERFECT!
  6. Our new offense should revolve around LF7 runs left. Guice runs right. Harris picks his nose; I mean throws an 80 yard pass for a possible PI.

  8. I won't be around much this week (mostly due to work) but can see that some of my opinions will be counter to the majority. I agree that Alleva is a joke and the past two weeks were handled horribly.

I'll take a lot of heat (here) for somewhat agreeing with Miles that the offense may not need a complete overhaul. I thought Harris passed the eye test for the 1st 7 games and the offense was much better than last year. He obviously struggled over the past four games, which Miles acknowledged. Another year of experience (or another QB beating out Harris) should make the offense better next year given all of the returning skill players. I thought the defense not being able to get off the field against Bama/Ark/Miss was more troubling. It felt like we couldn't get a stop for three straight games.

If our QB can simply learn to make a couple of the routine throws to keep the chains moving, the offense will be fine.
  9. That's a big, big IF. Not only that, Harris or whoever is the QB needs to be able to pick up a secondary receiver when the primary is covered and to be able to remember the damn plays and not cause so many inexcusable delay of game penalties.

  10. It would also help if we ran a route tree with some creativity. Sending two WR's on a post and an out route is not creative. I cant always see the entire field when the game is on TV, but our passing scheme seems very archaic
