CLM says that before EVERY game but he has barely gotten 12 touches the whole season. I don't think he has any intention of letting Shep play but he says that to sort of keep the media and fans happy & looking forward to it. Also where was Randle? He made a couple of nice catches the week before and then nothing! I just think Miles refuses to play freshmen no matter how talented or how badly they are needed. I wonder if Shep would commit to LSU if he knew then what he knows now?

doesnt matter if you put miles and crowton in a split formation. it would have been more effective than JJ collapsing in the fetal position over and over even when he had ample time.

and you have no clue if RS would have helped. it certainly couldnt have hurt. its that stupid mindset that results last in offense in the league.

nice try though. you almost convinced us RS wouldnt have been more effective than negative yards.

All our QBs are green. The thing is, is we need a spark. Just like last year. The thing that scares me is this snowballs, which is what happened to Lee last year. There comes a time when you just have to give someone else a shot. Not saying start Lee or Shepard but give them a series. See what happens. JJ definitely didnt look like he belonged out there.

The thing with Shepard is he can play many positions. We should be using him. Having him in at RB with Scott or Williams could help. Putting him in motion from WR. Just to keep the D a lil more honest. Fact is we have to dig deep in the playbook and try new things. This predictable crap isnt working. We dont have a good OL to help out. To magnify the problem JJ is a deer in headlights.

We have more problems on offense than what a true Freshman can over-come, Tirk.

But thank you for such the witty comebacks you always toss our way. You're like the smartest kid with down syndrome.

    This is not Manning up.

Manning up would have been doing it in the damn 2nd or 3rd quarter when everyone else in the world could see that it wasn't working.

If he would have helped, he would have played. That's the bottom line.

Which assertion is more ridiculous? The one that states the reality of the situation or yours?

So basically you are saying that it is impossible that our coach made a mistake.

Yea. I'm not buying that one.

I know you'll say "what" but aside from the pick sixes was Lee that bad that we wasted a precious scholarship on him. Now that we can't run the ball successfully wouldn't a pure passer possibly help the offense with the receivers we have. We did score 30 or more points when Lee was throwing the ball including 21 against Florida and 38 against Georgia. Remember Lee was a Freshman thrown into the starting lineup due to injuries and the Perraloux fiasco. Take out the special team scoring this year and what are we averaging per game? Who has more talent at wide receiver in the SEC over our group of receivers? Les's promises to fix things the week following a game are gettting old. We won't even get into clock management which is another coaching issue.
Don't get me wrong, the worst thing we can do is start changing the coach. We don't want another Curly Hullman and Dinardo era or is it "error"?
I was very proud of how the defense played but the linig up offsides is beyond me. That is taught in the 7 year old league of flag football.
Football is discipline and more discipline and we lack it.
