I am also holding judgement on Miles. However, he does deserve the credit for putting emphasis on special teams play which excelled this year, and also for Pellini's hire, which turns out to be a good one. ________ Oregon dispensaries
And that's not to mention the fact that it is in the toughest conference in the country to adapt to. Just ask Urban or that idiot Orgeron about that. Regardless of what kind of talent you have, to assemble a one-loss season (assuming we beat Arky) in your very first year, in this conference, with the tremendous adversity facing the team early on, is nothing short of remarkable.
at 9-1, We are much better than i thought we would be as a new coach. As the new guy replacing Saban, he has done an admirable job, and all the negative people will probably stay negative and look for excuses to bash on Miles after everygame, more than likely because he isn't Saban. But at 9-1 he is ahead of schedule and i look forward to more seasons with Les leading our team.
I was one of those who was critical of Miles. But in Fairness, I was also critical of Saban. After the way Archer went downhill, and Curley stayed down, especially after the way thing went at the end of the DiNardo era, falling apart when everything was starting to look so promising. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Even after getting :crystal: it just didn't seem real. While I may complain at times, I do support whoever coaches a LSU. After all, we kept our tickets through the Hallman years, no reason to quit now.:thumb:
Les Miles has done a great job here so far. I mean look at his record, 9-1. He also did something NO OTHER COACH HAS DONE, beat Florida, Bama, and Auburn in the same season.
I think we can all agree that Coach Miles did a heck of a job this year. With all that happed with the 2 hurricanes, to me, I look at Miles as the captain of the Titanic..... Except, he didn't slam into an iceberg and watch the ship sink. With all that happened he had accomplished a great feat going 9-1. One of the best moves he made was to keep the coaching staff in tact for the most part. A real test will be in his recruiting. Can we continue to get the high caliber of players that Coach Saban brought? We are consistently starting to win and that is one thing that attracts recruits. A job well done for Coach Miles.... The "bar is being set", so the pressure will be on! :geauxtige
Man, some of you guys are hard to please. 9-1, first year, hurricanes, little Saban ghosts everywhere... pretty nice job, I'd say.
