I would not blame him for leaving. I mean if I were the coach and went 10-1 and the SECCG and all these fans are not happy with me???? What can he do?? I guess he could got 11-0 and win the SECCG but that dont happen every year and this was his first year under some hard conditions. Heck I would expect him to leave but I think the program would start a downward spiral. Because be honest who want ot go to a program that "God" just left and where his replacement went 10-1 and is questioned everyday. PS He would probably make more $ a CU and the Big 12 N is easi3er to win than the SECW.

And you assume the BOS will go hire a proven AD? They didn't allow Emmert to do it, so I highly doubt they will let O'Keefe do it either.

You obviously have more faith in the BOS than most...

You guys had better HOPE this rumor is bunk.

Do you know how bad this university and we as fans would look to the rest of the country ? The media would be all over this... They would spin it something like this...

Les Miles comes in and guides the team through 2 hurricanes.... One of which is the worst natural disaster in our country's history... He holds the team together through a brutal 11 week run and comes out of it with only 2 losses and a Peach Bowl birth against Miami... And to show their appreciation... the fans run him out of town... How horrible and greedy and selfish and unappreciative are these LSU fans ?

THAT is what the media would do to us. That would really help us find another quality coach and some great recruting classes huh ?

Looks like the CU job will go to Nutt. Sounds like they are about to run him out of Arkansas. That hotshot QB they had decommitted (Is that even a word?) and looks to be eying Tenn.

What was I saying about Tubby the other day? Stranger things have happened. :hihi:

Same thing everyone was saying about Notre Dame last year and what did they do? They put the money up, hired a qualified guy and they'll be in New Year's Day bowls from here on out.

I don't think the two situations are really comparable. Ty was there for more than one year, and didn't have to deal with the crap that Miles has had to deal with.

You said the media. The media tar'ed and feathered Notre Dame over being racist for firing Willingham. They had no problem getting the best OC in the NFL did they?

i'll give you that... but that is also Notre Dame. The most storied program in the history of college football and probably any other sport for that matter.
