Hey guys, just saw this linked from an Arkansas board. If true, I have to say pleeease don't take a look at coach Nutt again, he's great, takes us to a bowl game every year (almost). Young guy, great motivator, can sell snow to an eskimo. You'll hear just what you want to hear every week, especially how it affects his feelings every time you lose (but that will be never, cause he's so great, see?). You will come to understand that going to Shreveport for your bowl game is acceptable, and if you make it to a better bowl, then that's just sheer brilliance on his part. In short, although we know Nutt is too loyal to the Hogs to even consider moving south, we just don't want to take the chance of losing this fine football mind. So, please, don't think of stealing our Nutt. Please?
I have to say that I absolutely love this thread. It really gives me a feeling of familiarity. Ignoring the details of the situation, the coach is Miles and its a college Colorado named, reading this thread tonight just makes everything seem normal. It's December. There is talk about LSU's coach being hired elsewhere. To top it off, LSU has a ten win season under its belt. Ahhhhh, life is good.
How exactly is this good for LSU? It would just make LSU look bad losing a coach to freaking Colorado.
Barnett must be on the hot seat in Boulder. The AD didn't exactly give him a ringing endorsement about coaching in the bowl game and I don't know why that's an issue since he's under contract through next year. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
My point was the percieved uncertainty as to whether or not he's going to coach the Buffs in the bowl game since he's under contract.
