So you're saying the way you just worded is much better? I read it 5 times, and I can't make heads or tails what the hell you mean.

He woulda bit your head off too.

At least I'm there to have my head bitten off... :)

I'll try again: "What does the score have to be, before you start to experiment with little tricks and nuances to get ready for next week?

    How bout this one...
"Coach, does there come a time during a lopsided game where you may abandon the current game plan and try out plays or schemes you may use in the future to see how they work in real game situations?"
    Clearer, no?

If it walks like a duck...... no matter how you slice it, it's a terrible question.

And not play 4 full quarters..... would our fans have a Miles/Saban fest then.

Why not just invite the media to our practice and let nothing be a surprise for opponent's coaches- maybe she could have asked Miles if he'd email a Fulmer gameplan strategy the Wed. before the Tenn. game too.

Not a valid gauge anyway... a given play, let's say a reverse, might work well if the DE is not staying home but if another team is well coached- that play's stuffed for a loss. (That's a simple example with a lot of other variables but just for argument's sake). Also, higher level coaches don't just have these "All or none" magic plays like recreation leagues' "Guard around, or fumbalruskie"- their game plans are much more precise in attempting to counter a defense's tendancies. If a play goes for big yardage against UL can we expect the samework against Auburn?

Let's face it, there ain't too many Holly Rowe's out there- if you know what I mean? [IMG]

Thanks, I hadn't heard it......... boy now I'm confused. Someone "There" said it was a woman that asked the question but it sure sounded like a man to me.
Maybe it was one a dose!

I merely clarified the intent behind the question...I was not attempting to lend it any credibility.
