Just a reminder that this is what most consider out "off year" where we have tougher road games....

If we want to compare Miles to Saban, In Saban's last "off" year season, he finished 8-4. Miles hasn't finished his first "off" season, so it may be a bit premature to burn him at the stakes....

I think we basically agree. Miles hasn't had the time to earn our confidence. Saban did. Even after Saban won the NC, the team followed that up with a less than impressive season. I had my doubts about Saban, though I knew he had it in him to get LSU to play at the highest level with the right group of players.

I'm interested to see where Miles is going to take us.

Good point. I think the 3rd year of the Les Miles era would tell us a lot, but I don't like what I see so far. Ultmately he will be judged by wins and losses and of course SEC titles. Saban had two titles and 1 NC in 5 years not to exclude the fact that he had inherited a mess when he arrived unlike Miles who was given the keys to a Ferrari. The program was at its highest national value when Miles took over in 2005. Key points that you left out.

Not quite...maybe if he had taken over in 2004. But Saban only went what 9-3?the year prior to CLM taking over.

I am not trying to say that CLM is a great coach, but it's still too early to write him off. What would have happened if we had written Saban off after 2002?

Bowl this year ... Cue the yacht and captain from the tidybowl commercial ... Bawhooooooooooooooooooooooooooooossssssssssssssssssshhhhhhh

    Tennessee game ... Loss

    Alabama ... tossup

    Arkansas ... Loss

Ky & Fresno State upset? Think it can't happen!

No game left on the schedule is a gimme when you have a team undisciplined enough to committ the amount of turnovers LSU has. Absolutely pitiful!!!

I'm sure the weedwhacker bowl has a spot for LSU ... 3rd in the SEC WEST

Where does that get LSU??? Dream on, you "run the table" dreamers!!!
