Re: IF MILES LEAVES HOW ABOUT THIS SCENARIOS FOR THE NEXT COACH

That's just crazy talk. If the best we could get after Miles is Major Applewhite then we are in big trouble. Also you should take into consideration what respectable OC or DC is going to gamble with their career and work for MA? He just lost to ULM....his offense scored a whopping 14 pts!!!

If Miles leaves, we should throw ridiculous money at Steve Spurrier....great coach, recruiter, and won't leave for the NFL.....

Miles isn't going anywhere...he may get a complimentary interview but he won't be offered the job. This CFN article does a good job of explaining why:

Me, too. I wouldn't be surprised if it was timed this way in part to put Miles in between a rock and a hard place.

I'm very curious to hear what's said at the press luncheon today.

What is considered shady character in the NFL vs college are two different things.

    Re: Guilbeau suggests Fisher?

I don't want nothing to do with Fisher.

This team could have contended for a national title had Crowton been our OC rather than Fisher.

We're averaging 7 point more per game than with Fisher's 05/06 teams with a first year OC having a QB playing his first year as well. That's quite an accomplishment. Shows you how mismanaged the offense was under Fisher.

I second that one... We don't need someone to learn on the run.

Playing devil's advocate here...not arguing with either of you.:)

Think of it from UM's perspective. Don't you wish Saban would've handled it like this when he left LSU? Instead of slinking out like a thief in the night? It's only November 19th, and they have time to find a replacement...so as not to get far behind in recruiting. I think he's doing it the RIGHT way...honorably. His concern isn't...and shouldn't be...anything other than what's right for UM.

right, still nothing specific or objective...so basically, you are a drone link in the rumor mill.
