I wonder if SS ever called a timeout immediately after a change of possession! :hihi:

Nevermind...about 10 people beat me to the punch!

But damn, Tiga...sometimes I wonder if you have a split personality. (which is better than having no personality, of course!)

Yes. He's the "Best" available.

If that was LM's only problem, we wouldn't be looking disaster in the eyes right now- I don't plan to get into them though.

If by "available", you mean currently employed elsewhere (which Spurrier is) he ain't the best available.

I really hope the UM deal doesn't go through. I kind of like the ole guy and I still believe he loves the team like he said in his PC. I think he was sincere, but I also think he knew that a decision was made or was about to be made and he didn't want it to affect the team.

Has UM been interviewing anybody? I haven't really heard much from UM but I've heard 2 different rumors about Ferentz. HOwever, I haven't heard much about anybody else getting interviewed.

You would think they would interview first before the agents work out a deal in the background but maybe not.

I really don't know what to feel right now if Les leaves. A part of me would be excited about a new coach that might hang around for awhile, but then I'm scared about the possible outcome of a new coaching staff. Also, I would be sad because Miles has done a lot. All the wins he has gotten is commendable and amazing when in the SEC. I thought he has done a great job, yes there have been mistakes, but he made great hires, recruited great, and knew when to take gambles and believed in his players.

I would prefer he stays at this point.

    We'll see.

Since I saw so many analogies to ex-wives/ex-girlfriends on here today (Thought they were hilarious too- some sad too cause sounded like some may have been speaking from experience, maybe) you think just cause a woman is married she's not available??

I'm not saying we can't take him from SC. I'm saying there are coaches better than him that we can take from other schools.

You're correct and that's how it's supposed to but it doesn't. Not with the local School Board, Police Jury, other governing boards. The dealing is done well in advance of meetings, phones calls, etc. and the meeting serves only as a formality.

You think there's been no contact before the season ended with all these coaching changes? I know, for a fact, of one who knew the day before his last game that he'd be fired.

That's what worries me the most about Tennessee. Not only are they fired up to end up making it, we kinda backed in (I know not really but same emotional affect). Anyone else notice that the closer we get to "D day" (Saban would like that one  ) the worse we've done.

The Dude tried to very respectfully bring up concerns about our defense only to be hit with # this, # that; however, he was on the money. Here's just one indicator of what was going on while some were turning a blind eye to the truth.

-South Carolina and Ole Miss offenses recorded twotouchdowns.
-Florida, Kentucky, Auburn and Alabama each scored three offensive touchdowns.
-Arkansas' offense was the first to score four touchdowns against LSU this season.
