Miles needs to run out of town. He plays nine bowl eligible teams, loses a boatload of defensive players to injury, loses two games in triple overtime, and we're hoping he leaves.

    Unbelievable.

Less Wins ten games three years in a row. With a win Saturday will have won an SEC championship and will play in two BCS bowls.

And yet I am constantly reading people saying it will be a good thing when Les is gone.:dis:

You should have hopped on the bandwagon in September. Beat a 7 win team by 45 and a 10 win team by 41.:hihi:

I'll admit...besides the first 3 games, I haven't enjoyed watching LSU play this year. I've obviously enjoyed the outcomes of the games (minus 2) but getting to that point about killed all of us. They have been fun to watch at times but truly maddening to watch much more often.

In any case, I am torn about Miles' pending departure. On one hand, I know that half of the games this year should never have been as close as they were. Granted, it was Miles' calls on those thousands of 4th downs that got us through. But should we have really been in that position in the first place? As so many have said, we are 10-2 now but could just as easily be 12-0 or 7-5. With the level of talent we have, it is mind boggling to think how many games we came so close to losing.

On the other hand, Miles has shown me over the last three years to be one of the few coaches at this time in all of coaching that is a real person who shows true emotion and heart. He could not care less about what others think or say about him because what you see is what you get with him. Often times, getting caught up in that emotion has caused him to be the subject of ridicule (the Pac-10 comments, the f-Bama comment, etc.), but it only goes to show you just how much he cares about what he does. He, unlike Saban, is a straight shooter who tells things as he sees them. It has been refreshing to say the least.

That, along with his 32-6 record, is going to be very hard to replace.

The BEST coaches don't do that. You never give your opponent extra incentives........like letting them hang around in the first half.

A lot of members here supported his saying those things but I can promise you, it's not in the best interest of a team when things like that are said in the open- you take care of things on the field.

Irony of it all is he's the one who could end up looking like an effin juggernaut when it's all said and done.
