I was just wondering what you meant by a good possiblilty. I wonder if there is a way to do a poll, and everyone could vote on the actual odds they would give for him coming back. To me it seems unlikely, due to many factors.
Wouldn't he lose all credibility, and thus wouldn't that make him less able to recruit well?

Just listened to our local sports radio show- an ESPN affiliate here in N LA.

They had their usual rep from Lindy's magazine, and an editor from Tiger Rag and discussed specifically the coaching rumors surrounding LSU.

These 2 guests were on seperately, 1 after the other. Both of them say there is a 90% chance that Miles will coach his last game at LSU come Saturday. Furthermore, they are pretty sure that within 48-72 hours of the SEC Champ game that there will be an announcement made- naming CLM has the new coach at Michigan.

Replacements: These guys have sources who claim to be "in the know" and the coach who we don't want to name has supposedly been contacted. Other names mentioned are the same ones that have come up on this forum: Del Rio and Spurrier.

The Lindy's magazine rep addressed the rumors of Tubbs going to Arkansas, and said that he feels R-Kansas will make a significant effort to get him. He also stated that Tubby is from AR and still has family there. On the flip side, he mentioned that Tubby has been an Alabama state employee for 9 yrs, and at the 10 yr mark you become vested w/ state retirement benefits, etc.

Just sharing the information with the group. Ya never know how all of this will fall into place.

If he did, then we hired the wrong man. Would y'all really pimp yourselves out to him after everything thats' happened?

what'd you just say on tidefans? we're headed for mediocrity? I would worry about beating ULM before I start predicting that we're headed that way. Mediocre would be a step up right now for Bama

I made a relative comparison as to coaching instability. Bama and its' travails should give anyone a long pause when it comes to coaching carousels. Should CLM and Pelini bolt.........coaching choices could be uber critical.

Take the whole exchange into consideration. LINK
