Michigan gets permission.... <post coaching discussions HERE>

Let's see, if I remember correctly, following the Kentucky game I posted a thread asking who you think will be the next LSU coach saying that CLM would go to Michigan. I got flamed into oblivion. Maybe it still won't happen and yall can say "Told you so". But it sure seems a lot more possible now. If it does, I won't say told you so. BUT I sure will start a new thread asking once again who the next LSU coach will be.

 

His wife is from the Lafayette area so it could be a point she wants to be home and stay here.

Ahh, it might work out then. I think I remember something on him awhile back saying something like if the LSU job ever came open again he would throw his name in there for the job. Not sure about that.

Although I think Les is a pretty good coach I am not sure what is going on with the the coaching staff, by no means am I an expert on what is going on but it seemed like when we were going for all them 4th downs he was making them calls and now that the defense needed some type of different plays ran when there was no pressure on the opposing QB looks like he would have tuned Bo up and told him you need to get something different going on cause what you doing ain't working to good. Maybe we can get eveything back together here and run Tenn. off the field.

Ain't been coaching to well either. Man he don't have to much going for him, doesn't interview well, doesn't like to recruit and defensive play calling seems questionable now. Hope he shuts down Tenn. and builds up some more cred.

 

I've got to questions Sean O'keefe here. He made the comments on live radio less than two weeks ago that Coach Miles was going.....long pause NOWHERE.

Why would you make that comment? I think it's obvious that SO and SB will make a run at CLM and offer a new contract but knowing the man's heart is in Michigan why would you make such a comment unless you are given assurances that he would stay no matter what? Even then I wouldn't have gone public with this information. It's too volatile.

 

O'Keefe made the same assurances two nights ago at the senior ring ceremony.

 

Nobody in the media cares what the Chancellor says is going to happen. They know it's his job to say these things. That's why he will keep saying it until Les is on the plan to Michigan.

 

Yeah...he has been a consultant there for years.

 

Just in case you haven't noticed, O'keefe is not the crispiest cookie in the jar. He should have stayed at NASA as the rocket man.
