    I heard the following on ESPN (Colin Cowherd) 45 minutes ago driving back to the office. Take it for what it's worth.

    Next week Skip is prepared to offer Les a revised package in the $3.5 million area. Rumor has it, UM is only prepared to offer $2.5 and personally that sounds high for UM.

    We'll see how it plays out.

    We seen what he did with a SEC team that was loaded with talent... raw deal or not the dude is not coming back to the SEC. I think he is pretty happy in Illinois.

    Unless Skip is willing to change our colors to Maize and Blue, pump in some snow, errect a statue of Bo, and build a few automobile manufacturers, I don't think it will be enough.

    skip may be doing that or letting news leak out about it even if he knows its not about money.
    LSU can look good like we're waving money in front of our coach's face in order to increase the attractiveness of the position and other coaches will think "wow, LSU really tries to take care of its coaches, i want to coach there."
