If they make this hire, the field would be the winner. Names are popping up, but nothing as of yet. Some smoke, but I don't see a fire.
From a news report: Somebody I trust, spoke to Les Miles going to Michigan awhile back. "The only way I'd go back, is if Bo told me to." Was the quote from Miles. We'll see what happens.
Jim Tressel?!?! He's still under a show cause through 2016! I saw reports crossing the wire yesterday that Eichorst had reached out to Bielema only to be spurned. I guess that's become a "thing" at Arkansas now—turning down Nebraska. I may have my date wrong, but it seems like it was in 2004 that Houston Nutt turned down a Nebraska job offer. Personally, I'd love to see what Paul Johnson could do in Nebraska. Gosh, I loved watching that offense when kids like Tommy Frazier were playing and would love to see that again in Lincoln.
Look at some of the other names on there. I voted for one, just for fun, but I wasn't the only one that did.
Both are exceptionally beautiful . . . and both are god-awful ugly and dismal. Ya' got to know where to look. After decades of road tripping and back country adventuring, I know the good, the bad and the ugly of most states.
Wisconsin is one of those places where you must be careful to say "hold the gravy". They will not only put it on your roast and your taters, but also on your green beans and apple pie. And there may not be stereotype southern rednecks in Wisconsin, but they damn sure have farmloads of dumbass country boys in trucker caps and boots. Only the accent is different.
