I have nothing against Michigan and I hope we have the opportunity to play them because these are two great football traditions that would be playing for the first time. There is no doubt that Michigan is one of the top teams of all time and they pack 100,000+ fans into their stadium each game. The remark of 11 National titles is quite humorous though. Here's a quick rundown...1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1918, 1923, 1932, 1933, 1947, 1948, and 1997. Seven of those (including 1997) were shared titles. (One title in the last 58 years...and we thought Alabama fans were living in the past.) It appears that Michigan has a few jackasses (AVBucks2521) on their board just like us. At least we have better looking women! :hihi:
Well welcome Michigan fans. I just happen to live in Michigan but Iam a die hard Tiger Fan. My dream may come true Geaux Tigers vs Go Blue. Its not hard to tell my colors I have a Tiger hat for each day of the week. State fans called me a trader but I was a Tiger Fan long before Saban. I let all know that I love LSU.
I hate to say it, but this is a more reasoned post than the LSU posts I have seen on the Michigan forum. The posts by LSU fans have really been arrogant. One predicted LSU would defeat Michigan by 31 points. The Michigan fans pointed out that the Wolverines have 11 national titles, 42 conference titles and 3 Heisman Trophy winners, and that before LSU begins bragging on their forum, they should wait until they have something to brag about. It was also pointed out that it is not good form as a guest to go on somebody's forum with such an arrogant attitude. Another post stated that based on the LSU posts he has seen on other forums, that kind of arrogance is standard for LSU. Hopefully we can we will redeem our image with some insightful, reasoned posts.
Those Michigan fans that have posted over here will let the others know where to go. The Michigan boards are getting all of those awful tigerdroppings posters. Most of them dont know anything about football so they just talk out of their as s.:nope:
yea, once their admin confirms my request for registration i will invite them over here and try to make mend
welcome. yall have a great program and a great school. michigan was actually one of the schools that i just had my SAT and am having my ACT scores sent to. that makes them a very, very distant second tier to LSU but still michigan seems like a cool school. lets all try to keep the smack civilized and not make generalizations and rash statements. LSU by 31? this isnt miami buddy.
Do you guys remember that Tupa was also the punter? That guy flipped the field on us and certainly was more dangerous a weapon in that respect than as qb. I hated losing to them the next year as well, even if it was only by 3 in their house. It would be great to trade games with some of those guys again. We used to trade with Notre Dame, and Tx A&M as well. Wish the $$ didn't prevent us from doing this again. Seems like the tv $ would balance out year to year.
