Just as I said, you don't have the brainpower for the question.

There are several reasons the statute exists. And you couldn't come up with even one? You think the good people of New York just have laws on the books willy nilly?

Good look with that. Just the process of appeal will require that shitstain will have to pony up 20% of the judgment and collateralize the rest.
Not a chance. And when he loses his appeal the amounts he had to prepay as bond will be automatically turned over to the state.

Curious, though... on what grounds do you think the decision will be thrown out on appeal?

And here's a particularly fun part in the trump saga: his CRIMINAL trial in an election interference case... 34 counts worth... will begin in a little over one month.

Talk about options, we can start with that idiot judge that ruled on the case before the trial started. The same judge refused to allow the defense to present and of course there is no victim.

I'm supposed to be impressed with what a soulless fatcat thinks about having to be responsible to the citizens of New York and elsewhere?

Here's something else that jackass has said:

"You may lose your wife, you may lose your dog, your mother may hate you. None of those things matter. What matters is that you achieve success and become free. Then you can do whatever you like."

Obviously greed is Kevin O'Leary's driving force. It's pretty small wonder he'd be scared of a government agency enforcing rules against financial cheating.

The included disclaimers were provided by Mazars, trump's accountants, to state that Mazars would give no assurances as to the accuracy of the financial statements. In other words, as is typical in such situations, they were included to protect Mazars, themselves, not to protect trump from committing fraud. They specifically state that the trump organization is responsible for the accuracy of the financial statements. "“Donald J. Trump is responsible for the preparation and fair presentation of the financial statement in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.”

And, over the years, the trump organization routinely stated to Mazars that financial statements were submitted without deceit and fairly represented the financial position of the organization.

So, typically, you're full of shit. The "disclaimers" defense didn't stand up in court to protect fraud, as it NEVER does, and will not win an appeal.
