...or it would have gotten the cop clocked with a hay-maker from a Miami player...

and after they stopped the brawl the Miami players held their helmets high and jumped up and down like they did something great.

In a way, I can't blame them. I mean, this is the first brawl that they might have actually won! :hihi:

Miami's stadium might have to get a new nickname. Instead of a TV introduction of "Welcome to the Orange Bowl..." it might be "Miami and Florida State get set to do battle 'between the tasers'" and have police in riot gear surrounding the field.

I just saw the replay, and I actually saw a Miami player body slam a FIU player and of course in Thug U style they celebrated. They make the oakland raiders look like a bunch of school boys. A total disgrace to all of football.

The NCAA should look at the tapes and see who all were involved in the fight and put both schools on probation. There is absolutely no excuse for a brawl like that to happen in such a one-sided game.

I wish I could remember the member of this board that defended Miami players when they had that shooting over the summer.

I still crack up about that.

Sad. Very sad for college football. I'm thinkin' Coker was already gone but this is the proverbial nail in the coffin. I'll be a fly on the wall waiting to see what course the U takes, the conference takes, and better yet, what course the NCAA takes (probably nothing).

Sorta makes you wonder (when considering penalties), when you lose scholarships for making forbidden phone calls and providing transportation to recruits, etc. What are they gonna do about this ruckus.....? Wait, that wasn't a ruckus. It wasn't even a fracas. That was a riot.
