you are both right, now lets agree to abide by the principle of umoja (unity), the first of the nguzo saba (the 7 principles of kwanzaa).

I believe Biblical Christianity is about a relationship, not about holding commandments. Infact the purpose of the law was to show the Jews that they needed Jesus; and the Jews missed it entirely.

Sounds like Christians are the only ones that do not get their feelings hurt.

the whole point of my post was that nobody's feelings are hurt. its just marketing strategy. there is no debate and nobody's feelings are hurt.

How many people celebrate Christmas in America?
the point in my post was that the companies make millions off of Christmas yet they will not acknowledge it. Why not call a spade a spade if nobodies feelings will get hurt?

Do Christians not hold the Ten Commandments holy as they do Moses himself?

No. That's legalism and contrary to what the Apostle Paul taught in the early days of the church.

this is just a guess at what homertiger thinking. IMO he's bashing stores for their hipocritical(sp?) approach to the holiday seasons. They are trying to appear to be politically correct, by saying "Happy Holidays" or "Season Greetings" yet very seldom are any advertisements for any holiday other than Christmas. I realize, that in my small section of the world, there are very few if any Jewish people, but I've never been to WalMart and seen a dradle, or a minorah(sp?). If these stores are going to make money almost exclusively off of one holiday, why the fake PC? It's like the corporations are trying to be someone they're not.
