This is a game where naysayers can question Brady's coaching skills.

This is a disappointment in a winnable game on the road against a top 25 team. Up by 15, the team collapses. Poor guard play, sloppy play by the forwards. No composure down the stretch.

Darrell, as much as I love him, is not a true point. Ben is inexperienced and doesn't provide an offensive threat. Team relied too much on Big Baby and Tyrus it seemed, and couldn't stem the tide. All of the coaching staff has to be questioned on game tactics in this one.

    This one hurts...

We can only hope that the team grows from these pains.

I know that they're young, but this team is starting to make me sick. For whatever reason, LSU can NEVER get it together in the beginning of the season. Now watch this team make a run in the SEC, make it to the NCAAs and choke again... Maybe they find it hard to get up for OOC games? I'm not dissin' this team at all, but what's up with this them? I'm not a Brady-basher, so I won't blame it on him... But are there some sort of leadership issues? D-Mitch and Big Baby should be able to get the younger guys to play. This team is/was on the verge of something great all season, the losses are hard to look at... This is a top 20 team at its best and a 50-ish team at its worst, consistency would be nice. I still think they'll get it together... still have a shot at being a great team. But these types of games come in handy come selection time..

There are times where you watch this team and believe they can compete with anybody in the nation and other times when you are hoping that we can simply compete in the SEC West and not be embarassed.

    thoughts and silver linings?

    Thoughts? Silver linings?

Maybe we underestimate Garrett Temple's worth. Their guards really seemed to get in groove after Garrett fouled out. Garrett played really good defense today, and when you have Ben and Darrell in there, you lose the extra height on the perimeter.

Tasmin Mitchell. Where is he? He's got to be the third option on this team, but it's seeming that Tyrus is becoming that guy. Tasmin started off the season with much fanfare, some big games. He's somewhat disappeared over the past few games. He's in a tough spot b/c he's a swing guy on a team that desparately needs him to play guard.

The team realizes now that they are good enough to play a good team on the road and compete. This loss will sting like a m** and will hopefully motivate this team.

Ben Voogd. With Tack out, a lot falls on this kid. With teams completely blanketing Darrell, I hope Ben is working on his shot. He clearly is not looking to shoot, and I think he better start thinking it. He could score in high school, so it's something he's going to have to look to do.

The good news is that we can stack up against good teams, the problem is we're not a complete team right now. We have Tulane and more time to gel before playing UConn and the SEC.

The team played well throughout the game. Temple Held their leading scorer to only 5 points until he fouled out. After Temple fouled out Ohio State just starting scoring at will. Even though Temple doesnt score much its kinda like he holds this team together on the defensive end (thats crucial, and it was obvious today). This is the second game in a row when Thomas played great basketball, lets hope he can keep it up. Tasmin has got to find his rhythm he'll be ok. Tasmin is on the wing playing the 3 this year. I think he is the one that has to start knocking down some jumpers (he has a nice shot) Temple is playing his role, and Thomas is doing his thing on the inside. Tasmin has got to find his role in this team. He will, and we will be ok.

I've been hearing how young the mens basketball team is for 4 years.
Is there ever a time when they aren't young?
