I'm really looking forward to this game. The P Mac should freaking be rocking! As of 2 o'clock this afternoon, only 1,700 tickets remained.

Great chance for LSU to show how far they have come this season on a national stage.

I look forward to a highly competitive game.

Is Xavier more flash and finesse than power inside game? Hopefully, since that would be a better matchup for LSU.

Just the opposite, they have a lot of big strong guys and a core of experienced players, including a 7' 265-lb C, and obviously that does not favor LSU. If the shots fall for Tas, Thornton and Spencer it should be a good one. If not, we could be in for a long night. It's winnable, but LSU will have to keep the game up-tempo on offense and play lights-out D for the full 40 minutes, as well as put some of those big guys into early foul trouble while avoiding the same for our starters. Hopefully the team will be able to take away something from the Utah game as far as defending big men in the post is concerned.

    podKATT,

Thanks for the post. I wouldn't have know otherwise. Maybe I'll catch the second half. I only watch whole basketball games during the NCAA tourney, or maybe the SEC championship game.

LSU is favored over the #13 team in the nation by 2-1/2 points. That means that the Tigers will win by at least 10 points.
