I don't remember the quote, but a few minutes before the technical the announcers basically said that Trent Johnson was on thin ice. It seems that Trent had made his displeasure clear with the officiating... Rough start to the second half, LSU down by 12 within the first minute before we score 4. Auburn is back up by 14 now :/
I guess winning the SEC at 13-3 was enough for this team. Hey, check it out. Auburn got another put-back after a steal. 34 points in the paint
It looks like it. They are looking horrible in the short time I've been watching. Auburn is getting a bunch of easy slams. They are pumped to get a tourney bid and LSU looks like it is sleepwalking towards the tournament. Remember LSU: every game is single elimination the rest of the way!
If these games against Vandy and Auburn are indicative of how this team is going to play in March, it's gonna be one short month. Oh and that giant thud is the sound of LSU falling out of the Top 25 with a giant crash.
I sure hope a different team shows up in Tampa and Memphis (that seems less and less likely each game). Did teams just take 3/4 of the season to figure out how to beat LSU? Well, I AM glad that LSU proved everyone in the nation right that LSU and the SEC were just nowhere near as good as we wanted them to be. :dis:
69-53 with 2:00 to play. Auburn also hit the brakes at about 5:00 left. They could have hit 80 with ease had they kept running their offense.
