Kennedy is the biggest example of why we need term limits than anyone I can think of.

Where did I say Kennedy's actions should be disregarded? Where did I ever downplay the severity of his actions? I'm not qualifying my criticisms, merely calling this bullsh*t article for what it is: nothing more than a disgusting and thinly veiled attempt to divert the attention off of the umpteen scandals republicans now find themselves amid. If it's just about Ted and Mary Jo, why does W's name even need to be mentioned? If you want to start a crusade to bring the bastard down, you'll have my fullest support. Just leave other politicians and their little idealogies the hell out of it.

Still playing the old 'Oh, but if Bush did it, you'd be saying blah blah blah' card, huh? Yeah, that's it. Screw logic.

There is no excuse. He should have not driven drunk with a passenger and run off of the friggin' bridge. That alone is negligent homicide in most states today. He claims that he swam around looking for her and did dive for her several times. He later told friends that he didn't realize she was still in the car. No one was there to confirm or deny. No one will ever know.

Let's put it this way. If Ted Kennedy had never been born, Mary Jo Kopechne would be alive today.

Nice ripoff - that's the EXACT pic from the cover.....

I discovered Nat Lamp in '71(at 15), bought the albums (Lemmings was sheer GENIUS),
and listened to the Nat Lamp Radio Hour weekly back then.

Many of them shortly thereafter got their big TV break on SNL in '75..

Man, what a funny bunch'o'freaks...

My sense of humor was NEVER the same after that...:thumb:
