That’s my point. We have way too much talent to be pissing away all these bullshit games. I’m not even talking about the SEC. We cannot hit period! Pitching is mediocre at best even though it should’ve been our strength. Offensively we’re horrendous...but we’ll see how it plays out. We’ve been known to go on runs but I just don’t like the way this team is playing. I don’t see anyone with the swagger to light a fire under this team.
I'll be honest though, all these instate games dont and wont make a difference. We could win them all but if we have a losing SEC record, we wont make post season. The SEC is THAT deep.
The problem is that it’s a symptom of a larger problem and the team knows it, hence, the meeting after. But having to have a meeting after a McNeese loss says a lot. Another thing is they shouldn’t need a rah rah meeting to have to get their shit together to begin with. They know what it takes to win so I’d love to know what the phuck is going on.
